Part-Time Customer Care Specialist (LaserCycle)
Job Description
This opportunity is part-time and hours are either 8-12 p or 1-5 p, M-F.Responsible for following Customer Care policies and procedures. Will be responsible for learning the order entry software and other company wide communication tools such as the contact software, e-mail and time scheduler.
Must acquire product/service knowledge through on-the-job training.Will have the responsibility for entering new customer information and other sales data for current customers into computer database.
Maintains customer relationships.Assures customer satisfaction by responding to queries and issues.
Will be responsible for processing customer orders and RMA’s in a timely manner.
Will support customer walk-ins by facilitating the sale of LaserCycle products or services.
Required to provide phone support by answering company-wide calls.
Will provide support to Outside Sales Representatives and Service Technicians.
Informs Account Managers of potential sales leads, customer issues, concerns, and/or complaints.
To attend and participate in meetings, training programs, trade shows, and chamber events as required.Ensures safety and housekeeping practices are followed.
To comply with all Company policies and procedures.
Your QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent (GED). Minimum two years computer experience required with emphasis in data entry. Must have strong communication skills with the potential to negotiate pricing. Must also have strong organizational and follow-through skills. Process Engineer
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Plans utilization of facilities, equipment, materials, and personnel to improve efficiency of operations and core processes during both the product development phase and after product has been released to the manufacturing floor
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Troubleshoot existing manufacturing processes for process improvement. Lead the development of solutions and action plans to eliminate special and common causes through root cause analysisReduce the variation in core production processes and support project execution.
Support the design, install and commission of new production units, monitor modifications and upgrades.
Ensure processes work at the optimum level, to the right rate and quality of output in order to meet supply needs.
Work closely with production to monitor and improve the efficiency and output of manufacturing.
Calculate reliability of individual parts and/or system by analyzing product failures for root causes, propose corrective actions, prepare failure and analysis reports and maintain product reliability control database on product success/failure history.
Ensure that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standardsRecommend design or test methods and statistical process control procedures for achieving required levels of product reliability.
Ensure environmental testing requirements are met by specifying minimum number of samples to obtain statistically valid data.
Develop and document reliability predictions and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA’s) on electronic and mechanical equipment, develop and document safety related analysis, maintenance reports and assist in creating component maintenance manuals for mechanical equipment.
Define and provide production throughput and rates to achieve manufacturing standards and production activity.
Develop and maintain support systems for production processes to ensure processes are stable and in place to deliver critical measures; assess the adequacy of engineering equipment.
Identify key process parameters such as pressure, flow, temperature, speed/rate, timing, position, stroke of components and their impact on the process; analyze relationships between input variables and outputs; identify key tolerances of input variables and key capacity constraints.
Lead the development of solutions and action plans to eliminate special and common causes.
Standardize processes and ensure correct up-to-date technical information is readily available.
Design, install and commission new production units, monitor modifications and upgrades, and troubleshoot existing processes.
Assist in transfer technology and training development delivery and qualification.

Coordinate initiative delivery from front end engineering to start up and validation.

Establish work measurement programs and analyze work samples to develop standards for labor utilization.
Analyze work force utilization, facility layout, and operational data such as production costs, process flow charts, and production schedules, to determine efficient utilization of workers and equipment.
Recommend methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities such as restructuring job duties, reorganizing work flow, relocating work stations and equipment, and purchase of equipment.
Confer with management and engineering staff to implement plans and recommendations.
Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
Responsible to follow housekeeping and safety policies and procedures, care for company assets and perform duties as required.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education/Experience:Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university in an Engineering discipline (industrial or mechanical engineering preferred)
Minimum of two - four years of experience in a manufacturing environment performing process improvements and increasing efficiencies
Skills:Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
Must have good communication, presentation and technical writing skills in order to work with internal and external customers
Proficiency with MS Office – particularly Excel and WordAttentive to detail, Self-starter/takes initiative, Commitment to quality product/accountable and Strong sense of urgency

Team Leader
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: It is the responsibility of a Team Leader to be the “humble servant” to the Production Technicians that they assist on a daily basis. S/he will assure adherence to production processes and ensure that productivity is consistent and stable. Directly reports to the Production Supervisor.
PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support up to six (6) assigned product lines including line preparation and raw material acquisitions. Take full responsibility of specified production lines. Must possess all required training and certifications. Possess strong knowledge of cartridge components; i.e. component identification, use of cartridge components, and recognizing the cause and effect of component failures. Familiarity with current and new product lines; i.e. name, product number and the printer(s) that utilize each cartridge type. Support production technicians by supplying them the tools and resources needed to perform their job successfully and to answer questions and inquiries to ensure no down time on the manufacturing floor. Ensure production technicians are properly trained and certified in current manufacturing processes - includes communicating and coordinating training needs and schedules with the Training Supervisor. Protect the integrity of the operator qualification system when line balancing in order to achieve production goals. Provide constructive feedback to Trainers about training initiatives. Responsible for developing and maintaining a positive, effective work atmosphere in the production environment. Lead daily pre-shift huddles with Production Associates to communicate and share information. Responsible for achieving production goals and ensuring quality on specified lines. Oversee line operation to produce quality products on a daily basis; includes adherence and enforcement of General Operating Procedures (GOPs), SOPs, quality, efficiency, safety and housekeeping initiatives; includes daily walk through and internal audits. Assure the continuous flow of line operation with minimal down time. Assist associates with meeting production standards by finding efficiencies such as proper approach to tasks and set up of work stations - involves identifying production processes that may be streamlined and automated. Raise quality issues on the production floor to supervisor level through observation of fall out, PAFs, and technician feedback to resolve issues that would affect customer product satisfaction. Drive down quality problems by communicating ongoing defects and concerns to the production supervisor. Visually inspect use of components during the production process and notify production supervisor for discrepancies in quality standards. Ensure tray integrity which measures the accuracy of the Batch Control Form; verifying quantities by cartridge type, task performed and Technician performing the task. Record production results on a daily basis for analysis. Responsible for data collection when required; yield data, hours collected for cost per cartridge, etc. Meet daily production schedules in a timely manner by communicating to production supervisor any issues which prohibit meeting production goals. Hold production associates accountable to production standards by continuous evaluation of the standards. Notify Human Resources to work through progressive counseling when necessary. Refer Associates to supervisor concerning work related incidents. Promote team building and encourage associates to treat their fellow employees with respect and common courtesy. Provide input to the production supervisor concerning employee development, advancement, counseling or terminations. Conduct periodic employee evaluations. Perform ongoing internal audits to ensure associates are following safety precautions as mandated on the production floor. Provide ergonomics training to assist in driving down repetitive motion injuries. Ensure policies, procedures, safety and housekeeping practices are followed. Hold associates accountable for the cleanliness of their work stations. Comply with all Company policies and procedures, care for Company assets and perform duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED). Minimum two years experience manufacturing consumable products; minimum two years experience in leading teams, with a minimum of two years practical experience building InkCycle products; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Skills: Proven ability to lead, communicate effectively and work well with others, and motivate people which has resulted in building stronger teams. Must possess reasoning skills. Ability to stay focused on the task at hand and utilize problem solving skills. Ability to multitask. Must be detail oriented with high emphasis on accuracy. Ability to recognize component identification and the cause and effect of component failures. Must have a mechanical aptitude.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to develop and interpret bar graphs.
SOFTWARE SKILLS: Intermediate level: Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.

Quality Assurance Manager
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Plans, coordinates, and directs quality control program designed to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.
PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product. Manage and maintain the company’s quality inspection and auditing programs for incoming and in-process materials, components, processes and finished goods. Implement and maintain the company’s quality system, and coordinate reporting on the performance of the quality system for review and as a basis for improvement. Proactively lead and direct the quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives of the organization. Own the process for all ISO related programs and hold accountability for identifying the standard’s requirements and deliverables. Formulate and maintain quality control objectives complementary to corporate policies and goals. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the Quality Assurance processes and workflow. Interpret quality control philosophy to key personnel in organization. Coordinate objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other plant managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs. Apply total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes within each department. Direct workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products. Work with company purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers. Create and direct environmental test functions. Bring together staff of different disciplines, driving the group to plan, formulate and agree on comprehensive quality procedures. In conjunction with managers and training department, design and implement quality control training programs for key personnel. Liaise with customers’ auditors and ensure the execution of corrective action and compliance with customers’ specifications. Travel as required. Comply with all Company policies and procedures. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
